ChuggaBoom drop first full action video pointing the barrel at SONY

October 2017 ChuggaBoom dropped a parody covers album called ‘Now That’s what I call Deathcore’ theming the artwork on the infamous brands series of compilation albums. The band did so under the Parody Law of ‘Fair Use’. So, what is the definition of Fair Use?
“Fair Use is any copying of copyrighted material for a limited and ‘transformative’ purpose such as to comment upon, criticize or parody a copyrighted work. Such uses can be done without permission from the copyright owner.” – Rich Stim, Attorney at Law.
Despite this, Sony ordered a Cease and Desist against the artwork, immediately pulling it from Spotify without warning. Being an independent band and not having the huge resources required to fight the giants legally, ChuggaBoom had to oblige.
Fast forward a year and the gloves have come off. ChuggaBoom have decided to fight back the best way they know how to, with a scathing diss track directed towards the music giants. This beef may have been slow cooked, but it won’t be the only thing that’s tender after the track drops!

“Trinity touches on real life, relatable themes such as: infiltrating the Illuminati, tips on dealing with inappropriate arousal, coping with the tribulations of growing up and, more contentiously, the band’s long standing beef with electronics giant Sony. We decided it was time to air our differences with Phony after our ChuggaTherapist told us at our weekly basement meeting that talking about things will give us closure. That was right before the vodka kicked in and she passed out. But who are we to ignore professional advice!” – Levi Taurus

This track is the second single from the eagerly anticipated EP TRINITY which is due for release October 31st.
