Serial Bowl Records – SBR001
Shouting gruff vocals punctuate a 90’s post-US-hardcore influenced A-side. Tuneful, yet fit-to-bursting with anger, ‘Hatespeak’ is a great track and it’s warming to see this style of punk being carried on into a new generation.
Slightly slower in pace, the B-side, ‘One Percent’ aims its bemusement and vitrioll towards the rich and vacuous. Like its flipside, the tuneful yet angry vocals are as clear as day and put the point across very well, without the need to reach out for a lyric sheet to figure out what’s been sung.
