Serial Bowl Records
Week 5 of the Serial Bowl Collective FoodBank appeal and this one has the local punkster supergroup Loaded 44 at the helm. “Shut Up” is a pretty damned decent track with all the halmarks of Loaded 44’s Blondie-like catchiness going on. What’s not to like here? With it’s rousing riffs and tribal drumming at the start to the sing0a-long-a chorus, it’s 3 minutes of fun for sure. I’ve seen them play several times – mainly supporting The Dickies – and they never fail to impress.
For the princely sum of one whole British Pound, you get to download the track from Bandcamp and add it to your mp3 player of choice or burn it to CD if that floats your boat better and in the process, help out two great causes. All the proceeds go to to St Aidan’s Kitchen and Sunderland Community Soup Kitchen.
